We are excited and honored to invite you to join us as we continue our ongoing journey to support the Women’s Center. Whether you have been a member of the Women’s Center Guild in the past, or are new to our organization, we want you to realize how very important you are to our continuing promise.

The Women’s Center Guild, by its very existence, has made a promise to women in Brevard County. Through your membership in the Guild, you are a part of the promise to provide a safe place, a helping hand, a trusted counselor, a caring friend.

On May 6, the Guild presented Dr. Jenny Gessler and the Center a check for $150,000 for the fundraising year, 2010-2011. It was because of our members that we were able to raise this amount in spite of the difficult economic times. The Center has seen a cut in funding, which makes our job more crucial than ever. To continue the programs provided for women and their families, your membership in the guild is extremely important.

Because we are dedicated to keeping our promise to the Center, we are looking forward to the upcoming year and the opportunities it will bring. We hope that you will join us for the 2011-2012 year. We cannot fulfill the promise without your help.

Your support can be realized at several different levels of membership.

Basic Member: $40
Gift Membership: $40, should you wish to give a membership to a friend.
Angel Member: $100 - $499, or Guardian Angel Member, $500 - $999. This level allows members to contribute $100 or more and be recognized as “Angels” in our yearbook and at meetings. An Angel may allocate her contribution to membership dues and the remainder between the Endowment Fund and/or Fundraising.
Partner Member: $1000 or more. Our Partners receive special recognition, depending on their level of giving, throughout the year, as well as important benefits at our events.

Enclosed is a Membership form as well as a Volunteer form. Kindly return completed forms along with your check made payable to “The Women’s Center”. We appreciate your thoughtful consideration to become a member and help us continue the Center’s good works. If you are a returning member, we thank you for your support in the past and hope you will think about increasing your level of membership. It is only through your membership and support that we will indeed be able to continue to keep our promise and make a difference in so many lives.
