Your Women’s Center Guild board is busy with membership renewals and planning the “Welcome Back Extravaganza Extraordinaire” Luncheon to be held on September 17 at the Rialto Hilton.

If you haven’t joined for the 2010-2011 year please do so and consider our membership theme of “Give a Gift of Membership” to a friend. Increasing membership is a goal deep in our hearts as we know the more women we have in our Guild, the more women we can help less fortunate than ourselves.

Our Extravaganza event on September 17 promises to be exciting. Neiman Marcus from Orlando will be set up to show current make-up technique and be part of the “Market Place” where many items from different shops will be for sale. A style show from White House, Black Market and Chico’s is also part of the event. Tables of ten can be reserved. Contact Rosemary Bain for reservations.

The Guild Board will be holding an all day workshop to learn more about services of the Women’s Center and working on the best way to get our members involved in our many various events. We need your help by making phone calls, decorating for an event, stuffing envelopes and many other behind-the-scenes activities. Please say yes when we call you for help. On the 15th anniversary of the Guild, we know to continue successfully it takes all of us to give of our time and talents. We are great women empowering others.
